How pricing works when services combine
Most kitchen jobs start from a base kitchen top and add premium features on top of it, so each feature is estimated as an add-on to the kitchen rather than as a separate project. A base kitchen in quartz or granite is typically estimated at roughly $2,500 to $6,000, and the features below stack onto that.
- An island top on its own is usually estimated at about $3,000 to $12,000, driven by its size, the stone and the seating overhang.
- A waterfall end typically adds an estimated $1,500 to $5,000 for each mitered end, since the miter and the matched veining take the most shop time.

Which page do I need if I want a new kitchen and a new stone?

Can I add an island top without redoing the whole kitchen?
Yes. An island can be measured, cut and set on its own. The main question is matching it to your existing counters, so bring a photo or a spare piece to the stone supplier, or choose a contrasting stone on purpose.
Do you repair or reseal countertops?
Repairs and sealing are not sold as separate jobs. Sealing guidance comes with every natural stone top we install, and small fixes are handled as part of a larger project rather than as a stand-alone service call.
Can one visit price a kitchen and two baths together?
Yes, and it is the better way to do it. One measure visit covers every room, the quote lists each room separately, and the stone for all of them can often come from the same slab selection trip.
