Fabricate only
We template, cut and polish, then the tops leave on your truck or are delivered to your job for your crew to set. Seams are marked and the pieces are labelled to your drawing so your installers know which top goes where.
Template only, then decide
On a job where you are unsure whether your crew will be free, we can template first and settle install versus pickup once the tops are cut. Either way, plumbing stays out of it. Plumbing is a separately licensed trade in North Carolina, so a licensed plumber reconnects the faucet and drain after the top is set.

Templating on your schedule
We template when your cabinets are set, fixed and level, on the date your installer gives us, not on a date that suits our route. A template taken before the boxes are down is a guess, and a top cut to a guess is how a shop ends up paying for stone twice. Caesarstone's own project guidance tells the fabricator to take final measurements once cabinetry is in and to leave plumbing and appliance connections until after the countertop is installed.
Level first
Base cabinets carry the stone at their standard height of about 34.5 inches, and a box out of level shows in every seam. If we find one on the template visit, we tell you before we measure, so your installer fixes it rather than our shims hiding it.
Face frame or frameless
Face-frame and frameless European boxes carry a top differently at the front edge and at open ends. Tell us which you built so overhangs and support are drawn to the box, not to a default.
Appliances and fixtures on site
The sink, cooktop spec and faucet should be on site or specified by model when we template, so every cutout is drawn to the real part.
Dust stays at our shop
Stone is cut wet in our shop, not in your client's kitchen. OSHA lists stone countertop manufacturing among the activities that release respirable crystalline silica, so the less cutting happens in a finished room, the better for your client and your crew.
Sending a job
Send the cabinet layout or shop drawing, the client's material and edge choice, the sink and faucet models, and the date your boxes will be set, and we return a written quote and a template date. That is the whole intake. A repeat account can send the same set by email for every kitchen.
